Gallery Suite
This executive suite has been styled to be a gallery for the visual arts, and many of the pieces are for sale. Diane, the owner, lives above the suite and is a ceramic artist and potter. She has a beautiful ceramic studio in her backyard. Ask her about private lessons during your stay!
The space
The views are among the best Nelson has to offer! This suite is minutes from hundreds of mountain bike trails or easy walks along the rails to trails. Lock your bike on the metal bike rack provided. There is a modern beautiful, fully stocked kitchen, a large bedroom with a king bed and a queen-sized pullout couch in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a washer and dryer.
Ski and snowboard rack also for your use. Summertime? Enjoy a Bbq dinner while relaxing outside in Adirondack chairs or at the Bistro table.
Guest access
The Patio, Bistro table, Adirondack chairs and barbecue in the front are entirely for guest use.
There are beach chairs and a beach umbrella for guest use.
This is also a common walkway space for Diane & Company to access the studio and home. The driveway leads right into the gravel patio area.
Other things to note

We had the most comfortable stay at Diane’s lovely artistic apartment! The space has everything you could need in the kitchen (including multiple ways to make coffee which I greatly appreciated), a super comfortable bed, and feels very spacious for a 1 bedroom. The property is at the end of a cul de sac in the hills of Nelson offering quiet and privacy. Next time we make it up
I’ll be sure to do a pottery class with her. Such a warm inviting soul, don’t hesitate to stay here you will NOT be disappointed!

All the stars for Diane’s amazing place in Nelson. It’s beautifully decorated, warm and cozy, and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. The place is also more spacious than it looks in the photos. Diane went out of her way to make us feel welcome. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Nelson, though have your snow tires on if you’re visiting in winter—the hill is pretty steep!

This gorgeous suite is styled with comfort, cleanliness and art in mind. Loved the fully stocked kitchen, the comfy armchairs too curl up in, the warmth Diane brings to her guests, and her sweet dog Sappho! The ceramic studio in the back is a hidden gem and the private class we had was a treat to ourselves. We will be BACK!
